Our residents have the opportunity to enjoy a number of activities on the premises, in addition to the many cultural resources that are available in and around Montclair.
The
Inn has a spacious yard with places to sit and enjoy the grounds. There are
local gardens and parks including the world famous Iris Gardens
located in
Montclair's Mountainside Park.
Inn residents enjoy various forms of entertainment, such as guest speakers,
local musicians,
workshops, and presentations and exhibits by local arts.
Poetry
workshops with a visiting local poet provide intellectual stimulation.
The Montclair Inn also has a partnership with the local University. Students come to the Inn to work with residents on a large number of educational opportunities including foreign language, finances, music, reading, and book discussions. The Socrates cafe' holds a local discussion group at the Montclair Inn weekly.
